Statement

Interactive multidisciplinary artist. I create in my studio, the place in which everything happens. I experience my creation in the way a dancer experiences a dance. I feel it emotionally in my soul and physically in my body. I use the space on the canvas, opening it up, going along with it… to find out where is it leading – mystery, memory and nostalgy meet all together on the space that is on the canvas...

... The feeling is that there is never reaching, there is only continuous formation. I devote myself to investigating, and to uncertainty. Like flying out. I draw inspiration from the meeting between the inner emotional world and the physical world. In my creation I aim towards a specific emotional experience, and I’m trying to lead the observer to a different place, deep and poetic, a moment without dimension that is trying to commemorate the movement of life. By dismantling the observation into elements, I try to blur the borders between the worlds. This is a combination that sustains a warped and tangled meeting of associations, contexts and contradictions between the factual and the conceptual, between the physical presence to the sensory impression, between the materiality of the color to its transparency, between line to form, and between the painting to the photography. The encounter also flattens reality into two dimensions: existence or disappearance. Sometimes the formation is opaque and combined of layers of color stains and contradictions, and sometimes it is transparent, poor in material of lines and forms. No beginning or ending – the creation is in fact the end and the beginning at the same time.
